Student Consumer Information
The Student Consumer Information regulations of the United States Department of Education requires institutions participating in federally funded financial aid programs to make information about the institution available to current and prospective students. Franklin Academy intends to provide complete and easy access to any information students need.

Placement Rates are calculated as follows: Total number of students who graduated in the above timeframe that were employed in-field or related to their field of study divided by the total available graduates (which excludes graduates unavailable for placement (i.e. incarceration, death, serious health issues, etc.).

Completion Rates are calculated as follows: Total number of students who started and completed their program within 150% of the normal time to complete the program divided by the total number of student who started.
License Exam Pass Rates July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018

License Exam Pass Rates are calculated as follows: The total # of graduates who passed the State Board License Exam divided by the total number of graduates that sat for the exam within the timeframe listed above.
State License and Accreditation
Franklin Academy is licensed by the Tennessee State Board of Cosmetology, 500 James Robertson Parkway, Suite 120, Nashville, TN 37243.
Franklin Academy is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE), 7840 Roswell Road, Building 300, Suite 325 Atlanta, Georgia 30350, (770) 396-3898.
Transfer of Hours Disclosure
Hours earned at Franklin Academy may not transfer to another educational institution. Franklin Academy may not accept hours earned at another educational institution. You should obtain confirmation that Franklin Academy will accept any hours you have earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement. You should also contact any educational institution that you may want to transfer hours earned at Franklin Academy to determine if such institutions will accept hours earned at Franklin Academy before executing an enrollment contract or agreement. The ability to transfer hours from Franklin Academy to another educational institution may be very limited. Your hours may not transfer, and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at Franklin Academy if you enroll in another educational institution. You should never assume that hours will transfer to or from any educational institution. It is highly recommended, and you are advised to make sure that you know the transfer of hour policy of Franklin Academy and of any other educational institutions you may in the future want to transfer the hours earned at Franklin Academy before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement.
